Linktree is a great place to link your audience to the different social platforms you have a presence on.
If you have the PRO account, you've got access to the social icons that sit beneath your links. On Free you can still add links, with these steps.
Adding social links on Linktree Free
To add your Facebook profile or page to your Linktree, you’ll need to find the URL. It’s the link that appears in the search bar when you visit your Facebook profile or page in a web browser. It should look like this: https://www.facebook.com/linktreeapp/ (Please note: This is an example link only! You will need to find your individual URL for your Facebook profile).
Then, copy the link and paste it in the URL field when creating a new button for your Linktree.
If you're a PRO user, you can add your Facebook page (as well as other sites) in as a social media icon. This helps differentiate your button links, which contain content, from your social media sites, which is where your audience can follow you. You can upgrade to PRO from your Admin Page.
2. YouTube video / YouTube channel
There are a couple of options here - you can either link to an entire YouTube channel or to a specific video.
To add your YouTube channel to your Linktree, just copy the link from the 'Channel' section on your YouTube profile. Then, paste it into the 'My Links' section of your Linktree and your link will become active.
To add an individual video from your YouTube account, simply copy the video’s URL located at the top of the webpage.
If you are on our PRO subscription, you can embed a YouTube video onto your Linktree. You can read more about this feature here.
To add your Twitter profile to Linktree you need to first find the URL. It’s the link that appears in the search bar when you visit your Twitter profile in a web browser. It should look like this: https://www.twitter.com/linktreetwitter.
This is an example link only. You will need to find your individual URL for your Twitter profile.
Next just copy the link and paste it in the URL field when creating a new button for your Linktree. If you're a PRO user, you can add your Twitter profile in as a social media icon. You can upgrade to PRO from your Admin Page.
4. Music streaming (Spotify / Apple Music / Pandora etc)
Much of our community has Linktree to promote their latest single, album or music project. To add a link from your streaming platforms, you’ll need to copy the URL directly from the platform itself.
To do that, simply right click on the song, playlist or album and click 'Share'. Next, hit 'Copy Link To Clipboard' and then paste it into your Linktree when creating a new button.
This will be the same process on any music streaming platform, such as Spotify, Apple Music, Pandora, Google Play or any others you have your music on.
Adding social links on Linktree PRO
You can make your Linktree look slicker by using the Social Links feature in our PRO Subscription. The Social Links include:
