Make it clear
Don’t leave your visitors guessing what they are clicking on. To maximize clicks, be straightforward and clear. If you are talking about this link on your social media platform use similar wording on your Linktree. Consistency is important!
Add a call-to-action
A call-to-action is a prompt that tells your visitor to take a specific action (or in simple terms an adjective). When it comes to generating clicks, we’ve found it’s best to include an adjective as part of your link title. Where possible, ensure the adjective is relevant to the action your audience will be taking once they click the link.
A youtube link for example, it’s best to say “Watch my latest Youtube video” compared to “Youtube”
Be audience-centric
People react better to things which are super-relevant to them. One way to deliver that personal touch is to be action-oriented. Think about what your audience wants to do and then write back to them.
e.g. “Want your own t-shirt? Shop for it here”
